Solids & Recycling-Technik in Dortmund will take place in February 2022
More planning security for Solids & Recycling-Technik in Dortmund
(Dortmund) Solids & Recycling-Technik in Dortmund will be rescheduled for 16th and 17th February 2022. The rather tentative opening steps of the current Corona restrictions and the slow pace of vaccination continue to affect the planning of larger events. In view of the prevailing uncertainty, the organiser of Solids & Recycling-Technik is providing more planning security with the generous postponement of the date. Until the new date, the Solids will go on tour in a small format and show itself regionally and personally.
“By postponing the date of the trade show once again, we are making it easier for everyone involved in Solids & Recycling-Technik to plan ahead and have therefore already decided to act now,” says Sandrina Schempp, Event Director of the organiser Easyfairs, explaining the decision to postpone the date again. It is still unclear whether trade show events will be allowed to take place or whether hotels and restaurants will be open until the originally planned date in June this year. Therefore, in addition to the far-reaching protection concept, the organiser is providing more planning security and postponing the event to 16th and 17th February 2022.
Stable prospects expected for trade show events from the third quarter onwards
The still tentative Corona opening strategy and the slow start of vaccination are causing great uncertainty into the summer. Short-term changes in the coming weeks could require exhibitors or visitors to make spontaneous decisions. Consequently, it will be difficult for all participants to plan their visit to major trade show events this year. The new date in February 2022, on the other hand, allows participants to organise carefully and with a longer time horizon due to the large distance to current events.
Solids goes on tour with RegioDays
In the meantime, visitors and exhibitors can still look forward to news and personal contacts. Even if larger events are not yet within reach, the trade show will come to visitors on a smaller scale. In autumn 2021, “Solids on Tour” will bring the essence of bulk solids and recycling technology to Karlsruhe and Chemnitz. With the planned Solids RegioDays, organiser Easyfairs is offering technology providers and users a new, flexible platform for their personal exchange. At the one-day events, exhibitors will present themselves to a regional audience in a manageable setting. Trade visitors can find solutions for their projects spontaneously and without having to travel, and exchange ideas with suppliers in a protected atmosphere.
Planned OnlineDays will round off the information on offer in the future.
Parallel to the need for personal contact, the bulk solids and recycling industry also shows a desire for online formats. This is the result of a recent survey conducted by the organiser Easyfairs among visitors to both trade shows. The representatives of the industries are increasingly looking for virtual platforms. The show organiser is responding to this trend with the planned Solids & Recycling OnlineDays. In future, webinars and discussion groups will complement the face-to-face events and thus round off the information exchange on offer.
