According to Ralf Ackermann, who holds the patents and marketing rights to seal-IT with his company “FreeLeaves”, the bulk material covers are intended to make a valuable contribution to clean material and thus to consistently high-quality production without waste.
The cover can be universally adapted to all bulk material containers. Regarding the intentions of the development: “Of course, a qualification of products and production in terms of Industry 4.0 and digitalisation is eminently important for a sustainable company. However, we complement these efforts with a very simple and practice-oriented approach to clean bulk solids. For us, gaining time and ensuring quality means working with clean granulate and thus making the production process ‘future-proof’. And seal-IT also contributes to resource-saving production, which is currently on everyone’s lips, simply and safely through sustainable contamination minimization.

Advantages of the seal-IT solution
With seal-IT cleanliness in production is achieved through simple handling, self-explanatory function, space savings and individual applicability. In addition, there is the individual fit of the required custom-made products for the different cardboard boxes, the optional equipment possibilities for openings with different lance diameters or the adaptation to the processing of hygroscopic materials, e.g. by means of an exchangeable fleece. Expansion packages with the possibility of attaching a comprehensive sensor system are also planned. Ralf Ackermann says: “This means that the product, which will be simple in the near future, is prepared for the necessary interfaces and becomes smart!
