Health Protection

at SOLIDS Dortmund

Since 03.04.2022, there are no longer any generally applicable protection and hygiene measures for trade fairs on the part of the government. We will continue to observe the applicable legal regulations until the fair and will be in exchange with the authorities.

Currently, the following applies at our trade show until further notice:

Masks are welcome – to protect the health of all of us and out of consideration for all visitors and exhibitors, you are invited to continue wearing your mask.

We will stick to the existing hygiene concepts with disinfection stands and regular cleaning of all contact surfaces.

We are in close contact with the fair and the responsible authorities of the federal state regarding all protective and hygiene measures. The concept is based on the CoronaSchVO hygiene and infection standards issued for trade shows.

Our protection concept ensures that the fair is controlled and safe for visitors, exhibitors and staff. It is important to us that all participants feel comfortable even under the new conditions and achieve their trade fair goals.

If necessary, we will dynamically adapt the concept of health protection of our show participants to the changing requirements of the authorities and to the current general conditions until the trade show date.

Status: July 2022

Protection concept

3G proof and identity card

Admission to this year’s trio of trade fairs is only possible with appropriate 3G proof and ID card. The second vaccination must have taken place at least 14 days ago, the positive PCR test result at recovery between 28 days and 6 months. A negative PCR or antigen test from an official testing centre is considered negative test evidence. The result must not be older than 48 hours (PCR) or 24 hours (antigen test).

So that you are sure to be there: Register in advance!

Be sure to register in advance for your visit to the fair. We have defined a maximum number of visitors per trade show day in order to reliably equalise the trade show events. There will be no on-site registration.

Plenty of space and room for everyone: Keep the minimum distance!

Generous additional areas and aisles, routing, distance markings, information signs and much more will be implemented by us for you. Wherever possible, keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m from other trade show participants.

If it gets too crowded on the stands: use the additional seating at the networking tables for your one-on-one conversations.

When walking through the show: Mask on! (Almost everywhere...)

When visiting the trade show, there is a general obligation to wear a mouth-nose covering. Outdoor areas at a distance of 1.5 m and appropriately marked seating areas are exempt from this obligation. The obligation also does not apply when using gastronomic services.

If you do not have a mask with you, we will provide one free of charge.

Always important: hand disinfection and hygiene standards!

Wash and disinfect your hands thoroughly and frequently. Hand sanitizer racks are located throughout the area.

Adhere to hygiene etiquette: give a smile instead of a handshake. Sneeze and cough into the crook of your arm

Receive information contactless: Use Smart Badge!

Visitors receive an intelligent visitor badge when they enter the trade show. This allows visitors and exhibitors to exchange contact data and information digitally via TOUCH & COLLECT. Exhibitors will receive the smart badge reader required for this purpose during set-up.

For everyone's safety: Install Corona Warning App!

We recommend using the federal government’s Corona Warning app. You can find information about the app and download here.

Mandatory: Please stay at home in these cases!

You may not attend the show if any of the following apply:

  • You have had contact with Covid-19 patients in the 14 days prior to the start of the show.
  • You have acute, non-specific general symptoms and respiratory symptoms of any severity.
  • You have visited a Corona risk area according to RKI in the last 14 days and do not have a negative result of a Corona test (made at the earliest 48 hours before entry or in Germany after return) and a medical certificate.

Safety First.

We take care of your safety.

That industrial trade fairs can also be held under safe conditions in these times has already been proven in many ways by our Group in autumn 2021
